Saturday, August 2, 2009 - Kayak/Canoe Regatta

Saturday, August 3, 2008 - Kingston Days’ Kayak/Canoe Regatta

On August 3, 2008, the sky was slightly overcast, the temperature a mild 70, and the lake calm.  A perfect day for the Kingston Day’s Kayak/Canoe Regatta sponsored by the Kingston Lake Association on the shores of Camp Lincoln.  Just as the sun was breaking out, the Regatta bell sounded at 10:30 and the paddlers in 38 canoes and kayaks stroked into action and began the 3 mile loop around the perimeter of Kingston Lake. There was a rush of white water as paddles dipped into the frothy water and kayaks and canoes made there way around the first of five check points.   Sunday, June 3, 2007 Kingston Lake Association Shore Cleanup
Shore line clean up was a great success.  We had about 5 pontoon boats and two or three regular boats and we collected two one ton loads.  4000 ponds of docks, picnic tables, logs, boards etc.  You should see the pile behind Clark's!!  Thanks to everyone who helped.  It was a great effort.  Watch for the article in the Rockingham News.  Again, THANK YOU.
